Job summary

Freedom Home Care is seeking dependable caregivers who can work evenings and weekends to support veterans and seniors in our community. We are a veteran-focused home care agency dedicated to serving those who served our country.

Join a mission-driven team and provide in-home care, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. On-call opportunities and additional hours may be available based on needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Caregiving/home care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Dependable attendance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.
• Compassionate, professional, and client-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal cleanup.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor adherence.
• Offer companionship and stimulation.
• Assist with transportation and errands when needed.
• Document visits accurately and on time.

Freedom Home Care is a veteran-focused home care agency dedicated to serving veterans in our community. We are currently seeking dependable caregivers who are available during evenings and weekends to join our growing team.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must be regularly available:

• Evenings (after 4:00 PM)
• Weekends
• Short-notice coverage when needed during these time frames

This position includes a combination of:

• Scheduled shifts
• On-call opportunities
• Additional hours available based on availability and performance

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing, grooming, and dressing support
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and engagement
• Transportation and errands (when applicable)
• Accurate visit documentation

Qualifications

• Caregiving, home care, STNA, CNA, DSP, or related experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass required background screenings
• Compassionate, professional, and client-focused attitude
