We have several female clients in the Jasper and Dubois County Area looking for evening care.
$15.25 per hour - Typical shifts range from 12p-4p, 4p-8p and several options most evenings!

Serving the following counties in Indiana: Knox, Daviess, Martin, Pike, Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Perry
We have full time and part time hours
We currently have day shift, mid shift, evening and overnight shifts


Objective:

Home Instead Care Professionals provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Home Instead Care Professionals help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.


Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Reflect the core values of Klipsch Senior Care, LLC. (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).
  2. Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life.
  3. Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions.
  4. Maintain regular communication with supervisor and office staff.
  5. Provide Companionship & Personal Care services which could include:
    1. Companionship and conversation
    2. Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
    3. Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
    4. Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
    5. Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
    6. Washing and ironing laundry
    7. Running errands
    8. Accompanying clients to appointments
    9. Assisting with bathing
    10. Assisting with grooming
    11. Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
  6. Provide Companionship & Specialized Care services which could include:
    1. Companionship and conversation
    2. Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
    3. Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
    4. Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
    5. Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
    6. Accompanying clients to appointments
    7. Assisting with bathing
    8. Assisting with grooming
    9. Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
    10. Advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care
    11. Hospice Care
Secondary Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in company-sponsored training and social events including Care Professional meetings.
  2. Report hours according to office policy & communicate changes in availability in a timely manner.
  3. Participate in Listen360 Satisfaction Survey.
  4. Document client information in Client and Life Journal.
  5. May require you to run errands and provide incidental transportation for a client using your vehicle or a client’s vehicle.
  6. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements:
  1. Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds.
  2. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach.
  3. Possess a valid driver’s license or state identification.
  4. Possess valid auto insurance (if applicable).
  5. Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
  6. Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
  7. Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations.
  8. Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
