Job summary

Truewood by Merrill in Georgetown, TX is seeking compassionate Senior Living Caregivers to support residents with daily living activities, medications as allowed, and wellbeing. You will join a family-owned, stable team delivering attentive care in a welcoming community.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with meals, benefits, and career growth. Prior CNA or caregiver experience and CPR/First Aid readiness are valued; training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR certification readiness within 30 days of employment.
• Two years of caregiving experience preferred or CNA certification

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or as needed.

Our Caregivers:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.

• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
