"Supported Living Specialists" help adults who experience developmental disabilities to live independently in their own houses and apartments. You'll help them make their own choices, learn new skills, and participate in fun activities in the community. Some individuals may need help with chores, while others may require assistance with personal care such as showering and medication administration. You will work one-on-one, allowing you to build meaningful relationships.

We're currently seeking a Supported Living Specialist who will work 4-5 days per week (8 to 9 hours per day, generally between 8am to 7pm). This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule. You will be required to work on Saturdays and Sundays, and you can choose your other work days.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to transport clients in your personal vehicle: at least 18 years old, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, at least two years of driving experience, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass reference checks, a physical with a 50lb lifting test, and a criminal background check
  • Experience in developmental disability field preferred but not required

Benefits:

  • $20.52 per hour, with potential annual increases based on performance
  • Overtime pay for hours over 40 per week
