Job summary

Endurance Home Care is seeking Care Professionals for Per Diem shifts in Stamford, CT. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and drive clients to appointments using your own vehicle.

We value reliability, a strong caregiving background, and the ability to lift and assist clients safely. Flexible shifts include weekdays, nights, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to lift significant weight and assist with transfers.
• Willingness to commute within Fairfield County, CT; legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Offer safety supervision and assist with mobility to prevent falls.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and incontinence care.
• Provide client transportation for errands and appointments.
• Give medication reminders and assist with filling prescriptions.
• Follow care plans and document changes to the Care Team.

Responsibilities

• Companionship, conversation and social interaction
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping

• Following a care plan and daily and weekly reporting of notes and changes in health status to the Care Team
• Facilitating and managing medical appointments and other related health activities
• Monthly in-service trainings

• Upbeat, optimistic, compassionate, positive attitude and energetic
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a caregiver
• Must be able to lift significant weight and assist in transferring clients
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive and means of transportation
• Willingness to commute within Fairfield County, CT
• Legally authorized to work within the United States
• Bank account with direct deposit capabilities
• No serious criminal offenses as confirmed by background check
