RHA Health Services is hiring a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional in Aberdeen, NC. The role supports individuals with disabilities in the community and follows their Centered Plan to help achieve goals.

Multiple shifts are available, with base pay set by the facility and bonuses/differentials for locations and shifts. The position requires being at least 18, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical requirements include lifting 30 lbs, up to 70 lbs, pulling 50 lbs, squatting, kneeling, crawling, crouching, climbing, stopping, and frequent hand use.

• Assist with People Supported Development.
• Assist with Person Supported Community Life.
• Provide support to team members and supervisors.

*Base pay set by the facility. Additional pay bonuses and differentials for specific locations and shifts.

Schedule: Shifts and schedules may vary by location and typically a variety of shifts are available. Shifts cover all days of the week, Monday through Sunday.

Job Responsibilities:

Position Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers' license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:
• Regularly required to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Must be able to pull a minimum of 50lbs.
• Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stop.
• Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Required to regularly stand and walk.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.

• Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
