Job summary

Right at Home York is hiring compassionate in‑home caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the Hanover region and nearby communities. We offer competitive pay, paid training, flexible scheduling, and a leadership team that’s available 24/7.

Join our team to provide personal support, companionship, and daily living assistance in a one‑on‑one care environment while helping clients stay independent at home.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Must pass criminal background check & drug screening.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non‑medical assistance and companionship.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Run errands and transport clients to appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support with grocery shopping, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
• Help with mobility, walking, and transfers.
