Job summary

Senior Helpers Racine & Kenosha is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors in Kenosha and surrounding areas. We offer flexible shifts, paid training, and opportunities for growth in a supportive team.

As a caregiver, you’ll assist with personal care, meal prep, companionship, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while promoting independence and dignity. No prior CNA required; training provided. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic caregiving and household management skills.
• Availability to work at least 10 hours per week.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on client needs.
• Previous caregiving, healthcare, home care, or CNA experience is helpful but not required—we'll train the right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Preparing meals and helping with feeding when needed
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement
• Completing light housekeeping and laundry
• Running errands and assisting with shopping
• Offering medication reminders
• Promoting clients' independence, dignity, and overall well-being
• Keeping accurate care notes and communicating with the office team
