Job summary

Assisting Hands of Boston Northwest is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support to elderly and disabled clients. Candidates will deliver personalized care, assist with daily activities, and promote independence in a warm, respectful environment.

Flexibility with scheduling, reliable transportation, and ability to work with a smartphone-based app are required. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• One year minimum experience in home or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily needs and provide companionship.
• Maintain health and safety at home and monitor living environment.
• Follow an individualized Plan of Care for hygiene, ambulation, exercise, meals and daily activities.
• Assist with shopping, errands, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Hours vary; shifts available 24/7 and depend on cases; hours not guaranteed.
