Senior Helpers is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate caregivers to provide excellent in-home care for clients in the Canton and Jasper areas. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities based on location and skill, with all shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must have experience caring for the elderly.
• Must have current TB test and CPR.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional care to the client in their home (ADLs).
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner.
• Provide personal companionship and stay actively engaged with client and family.
• Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, meals.
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in client condition.

Essential Functions:

• Delivering exceptional care to the client in their home
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior
