Caregiver/CNA - (Part-Time)(2nd shift) - Richland Square

Richland Square Assisted Living, part of Navion Senior Living in Chapel Hill, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), and Resident Care Aides (RCA) to provide compassionate resident care and support. The role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' emotional and physical needs are met, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

This is a part-time position on 2nd shift, offering an opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • Assist with daily living activities, including turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages
  • Support personal hygiene needs, such as bathing and using bedpans
  • Provide adjunct care, including delivering ice packs, dressings, and post-therapy baths
  • Monitor and record food and fluid intake, urinary and fecal output
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and follow safety protocols
Requirements
  • Passion for caring for the senior population
  • High School diploma or GED
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR certification (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and residents
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally
