Caregiver/CNA - (Part-Time)(1st shift) - Richland Square

Richland Square Assisted Living, part of Navion Senior Living in Chapel Hill, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), and Resident Care Aides (RCA) to provide compassionate resident care and support. The role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' well-being, and responding to their emotional and physical needs.

This is a Part-Time position on 1st shift, supporting our residents!

Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
  • Assist with daily living activities, including turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages
  • Support personal hygiene needs, such as bathing and providing bedpans
  • Deliver adjunct care like ice packs and dressings as needed
  • Record food and fluid intake, urinary and fecal output for medical review
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses
  • Follow infection control protocols
  • Understand fire and emergency procedures and report safety issues
Requirements
  • Passion for caring for seniors
  • High School diploma or GED
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and healthcare professionals
  • Remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
