Job summary

Right at Home in Palm Coast is seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide personal care and support for clients in Lake Worth, Florida.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. We offer a flexible schedule, training opportunities, and a caregiver recognition program as well as paid travel between clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a CNA license or HHA Certificate.
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID is required.
• CPR Card must not be from an online class.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred.
• Relevant CEU training required (Alzheimer's, HIV, medications).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and accompany patients on errands.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide medication reminders and incontinence care.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate
