Job summary

Amada Senior Care is expanding in New Braunfels and the Texas Hill Country, seeking experienced caregivers to support seniors in New Braunfels, Canyon Lake and Spring Branch. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and PRN opportunities.

Open availability is a plus. We offer full health benefits, weekly pay with On-Demand Pay, a 401(k) plan, ongoing training, and a supportive environment that respects caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation with a safe driving record.
• Minimum 1 year experience with seniors or CNA-related coursework.
• Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening.
• CNA certification/training is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home non-medical care to seniors.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.
• Promote safety, comfort, and independence at home.
• Follow care plans and report changes to supervisors.

CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance
• Reliable transportation and a safe driving record
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors, current enrollment in a nursing program, or completion of a CNA course
• Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening
• CNA certification/training is a plus, but not required
• Dependable, confident, and willing to take initiative
• Experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, stroke care, hospice, transfers, bathing, and dressing is preferred
• Basic cooking skills and an understanding of balanced meals for seniors
• Flexible availability is preferred, but not required
