Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Resident Care Associate to provide non-certified, routine services while pursuing CNA training at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo, IN.

This on-site role includes assisting with housekeeping, meal service, and resident engagement, along with personal care per state guidelines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0-1 Years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including trash removal and making beds.
• Assists with meal service: transportation to dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
• Provides customer service, companionship, and communication with residents; answers call lights promptly and engages residents.
• Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state guidelines.
• Participates in training leading to CNA certification.

Position Overview

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
• Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
• Provides great customer service, companionship, and communication with our residents by answering call lights in a timely manner, checking in with residents frequently and assisting with engagement in activities.
• Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
• Attends and participates in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
