Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Jasper, TX is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship to seniors and veterans in their homes. Our caregivers help clients maintain dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life while assisting with daily activities in the East Texas area.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for full-time, part-time, weekend, and overnight shifts, with benefits and ongoing training to support caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to client homes.
• Must successfully pass required background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed.
• Monitor client safety and well-being.
• Encourage independence and help maintain daily routines.
• Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to the appropriate office staff.
