Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Boston Northwest seeks caring, reliable caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to clients in their own homes. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and meal prep.

Applicants should be English-speaking, able to use a smartphone app, and have reliable transportation. This full-time, in-person position offers a supportive team and opportunities for ongoing training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications.
• Follow each client's individualized personal care service plan.
• Communicate professionally with clients, family members, and team members.
• Support clients’ independence, dignity and overall well‑being.
