Job description

Emerald Crest of Minnetonkais hiring dedicatedCaregivers (CNA/HHA/ PCA)to join our team who care for memory care residents in home-like settings.

As aCaregiver,you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.You will love being a part of our talented and passionate team where you will feel valued and appreciated whilededicated to making our residents feel right at home.

Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Available Shifts (including every other weekend):

• Evenings (3pm to 11pm) (Part-Time)
• Days (7am to 3pm) (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Pay:$20.00 - $24.38 / hour depending on experience.

Shift Differential:$1 / hour for Evenings and Nights.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Aide in programming and activities with residents.
• Monitor the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
• Prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), orCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA))
• Apassion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
