Job summary

Elim Shores, a Cassia community in Eden Prairie, MN, is hiring a Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team. This on-call position offers a supportive, family-friendly workplace with training provided. You will assist with ADLs, promote dignity, and help residents maintain independence.

Ideal candidates are caring, dependable, team-oriented, and excited to support older adults. Previous caregiving experience is a plus. Wage range is $17.85–$20.82 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in elder care is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and ADLs.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per care plan.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Document services in the charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, hair care, nails, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Elim Shores, a Cassia community, is hiring a Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team.

As a Caregiver at Elim Shores, you will assist residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, shampooing, and medication administration, while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and team-oriented, with a genuine desire to support older adults. Caregiving experience is a plus, but we provide training for those eager to learn.

Position Type: On-Call

Wage Range: $17.85 - $20.82 /hour depending on experience

Location: 7900 Timber Lake Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55347

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar setting a plus.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.
