We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You will work individually with clients, providing non-medical services that foster relationships with seniors who wish to age in place at home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support with ambulation and medication reminders.
- Provide compassionate care for clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Support bed-bound clients with dedicated care.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide support to clients receiving hospice care.
- Assist clients with low vision.
- Support palliative care needs.
- Transport clients to appointments and errands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CNA certification or HHA license.
- Minimum of 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill individuals.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and auto insurance if transporting clients.
- Proof of current TB testing.
- Physical ability to perform job duties.
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
- Pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
