Job summary

Assisting Hands - Boston Northwest is seeking compassionate caregivers to help elderly and disabled clients at home. You will provide personal care, companionship, and safety oversight, following a written Plan of Care and coordinating daily activities.

Training is provided and you can earn specialized certification, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling options. Join a team that values caregivers and offers support, with opportunities to grow skills and deliver quality home care across cases

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• One year minimum experience in the home or long-term care setting is required.
• Able to utilize a smartphone based app.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must have a Vehicle and Auto Insurance.
• Punctual and dependable.

• Keep our clients smiling at home by supporting their daily needs - taking initiative about
• Companionship and engagement
• Maintaining their health and safety at home through providing high quality personal care, and monitoring their environment for safety risks.
• Follow an individualized, written Plan of Care to support our clients with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, bathing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
• Shopping, running errands, meal preparation, and light house-keeping.

Hours: Dependent on specific case(s); Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
