Amada Senior Care in Katy, TX, is seeking compassionate caregivers for in-home, non-medical care in Katy and surrounding areas. Part-time roles with flexible scheduling, weekend and overnight shifts, and in-office orientation.

You will provide companionship, assistance with daily living, mobility support, and remind clients to take medications, all while helping seniors and veterans maintain independence in their own homes.

Qualifications

• At least two years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of Katy, TX.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to quality care.

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or well-being.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment.
• Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to the appropriate office staff.

Job Summary

As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you will provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home care and companionship to seniors and veterans. Your role will help clients maintain their dignity, safety, comfort, and independence while receiving support with daily living activities.
