Job summary

CareDiem Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers and CNAs to help clients live safely and independently at home in Oak Lawn. The role involves personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and companionship during 5-hour shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-3pm.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of caregiving experience; CNA/HHA is preferred but not required. A valid ID and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year caregiving experience (agency or private).
• CNA/HHA preferred but not required.
• Valid ID, SSN, or work authorization.
• TB test, background check, drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Comfortable with smartphone apps.

Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Mobility/transfers & fall prevention.
• Meal prep & light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship & safety supervision.
• Use care app to clock in/out and document care.
