Job summary

Comfort Keepers in the St. Cloud area is hiring an in-home caregiver or CNA to assist seniors. Flexible scheduling options include full-time and part-time hours.

The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20–$21/hour for CNAs. After five months of employment, Caregivers are eligible for CNA training and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification. Free CNA classes may be available to you!

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal care.
• Driver’s license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
