Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Central Illinois is seeking a Personal Care Aide to join our in-home care team. You will provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults, offering companionship, daily living assistance, and transportation to appointments.

This role features flexible hours and competitive pay starting at $16.00 per hour, with training and opportunities for development. Must have reliable transportation within Champaign/Piatt County and a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Companionship and/or Personal Care experience.
• A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others.
• Access to reliable transportation with willingness to travel within Champaign/Piatt County.
• Up-to-date car insurance, registration and a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping.
• Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services.
• Provides transportation to doctor’s appointments, beauty shops, etc.
