Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support clients in the Carol Stream area. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, meal prep, and light housekeeping, with travel to nearby communities as needed.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. We offer daily pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision plans, life insurance, PTO, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of general safety and sanitary practices.
• Strong ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with office and family.
• Assisting with bathing, showering, toileting.
• Meal preparation and feeding.
• Assisting with dressing & grooming.
• Transfer assistance.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail.
• Provide transportation for or with client to grocery store, errands, doctor visits etc.
