Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Assist with mobility around the house.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Assist patients with their meals and other activities essential for daily living.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties physically.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Availability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate attitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
• Supportive of providing high-quality care.
• Experience with Hoyer Lift (specific to client).
