Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of East Peoria is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/CNA to provide compassionate in-home support in Normal, Illinois. You will assist with daily living activities, deliver companionship, and support family-centered care as part of a trusted team.

The role is full-time and on-site, with mileage reimbursement for client cases outside Bloomington Normal. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to deliver the quality of care that aligns with our mission of treating every client like family. Whether you work on-site in Normal, Illinois, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.


2. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.


3. Help with homemaking tasks such as laundry, light housekeeping, and running errands.


4. Monitor and report changes in client health and status to nursing staff and family members.


5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications:

4. Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with mileage reimbursment for clients outside of Bloomington Normal.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Normal, Illinois.
