Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Hoyer Lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients, including showering and dressing.
• Help clients with medication and assist with mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals and report emergencies.

Job description

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide various levels of support to our clients. Hours are flexible, with great pay and benefits. Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Assist patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting; eager to improve and learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Willing to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
• Supportive and compassionate attitude.
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client).
