Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a part-time Memory Care Activities Assistant to support residents with dementia, lead social and wellness activities, and assist with daily living tasks in a memory care neighborhood.

The role emphasizes compassionate, engaging care, clear communication, and collaboration with families and staff to promote independence and well-being in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia; participation in activities preferred.
• Clear communication in English.
• A CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful.
• Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
• Assist Memory Care residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one on one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Ensure resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

In this role you will be responsible for planning and implementing programs and events which provide socialization opportunities, fitness and wellness activities, educational and recreational programs, as well as spiritual life support based on the needs and preferences of the residents at the community.

Job Description

$18.50 Night Shift 10PM - 6PM

Part Time - Opening

• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
• Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions, as needed, for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one on one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia including participation in activities is preferred.
• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
