Job summary

The Denver Waldorf School is seeking a Part-time Caregiver/Child Program Teacher for the Sweet Pea program in Denver, Colorado. Candidates must be experienced with young children and working with their caregivers to inform and enrich Waldorf-informed development, creating a warm, engaging classroom atmosphere.

Ideal candidates will have Waldorf Early Childhood Education training and the ability to design a curriculum and program that represents the Denver Waldorf School.

Opening Statement

The Denver Waldorf School is seeking to fill the role of our Caregiver/Child Program Teacher for our Sweet Pea Program. Candidates must be experienced in working with young children, in tandem with their caregivers, to inform and enrich the lives of these families with Waldorf and child development education.

The Denver Waldorf School is a friendly and lively urban K-12 school with 300 students located in Denver, Colorado with the splendor of the Rocky Mountains just a short trip away. Founded in 1974, we are a fully accredited full member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America, the Waldorf Early Childhood Association and the Association of Colorado Independent Schools.

The employee may need to be able to lift or move up to 20 pounds.

Working Hours

There will be three 8-week sessions of two classes each week. The classes will be from 8:30am -10:00am on days to be determined. There will be one session in the fall, one in the winter and one in the spring. Exact dates are yet to be determined.
