Job summary

The Denver Waldorf School is seeking to fill the role of our Caregiver/Child Program Teacher for our Sweet Pea Program. Candidates must be experienced in working with young children, in tandem with their caregivers, to inform and enrich the lives of these families with Waldorf and child development education.

The role is part-time with three 8-week sessions, two classes each week from 8:30am to 10:00am. Salary is $1,200 per session, with responsibilities including curriculum design aligned to

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Waldorf Early childhood Education training.
• Capability of designing appropriate curriculumand program that represents The Denver Waldorf School and its ideals.
• The ability to work well in a collegial setting.
• The ability to communicate clearly and regularly with parents.

Working Hours

There will be three 8-week sessions of two classes each week. The classes will be from 8:30am -10:00am on days to be determined. There will be one session in the fall, one in the winter and one in the spring. Exact dates are yet to be determined.
