Discovery Senior Living’s The Forum at Lincoln Heights in San Antonio, TX is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like setting.

You will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and maintain cleanliness while engaging residents in meaningful programs. CNA preferred; HS diploma required; 18+; weekend coverage possible.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Excellent communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well‑being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Role

As the Caregiver, your role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Rotating schedule, INCLUDING WEEKENDS And Holidays
• Location: 311 W Nottingham Dr., San Antonio TX 78209
• Rate of Pay: Depending on Experience

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
