As a caregiver, you will provide various care services tailored to each client, from household chores to personal care. Duties may vary based on individual needs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary per client, but may include:

MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE

• Drive seniors to appointments, meetings, and church services.
• Assist with trips to local Phoenix markets.
• Go to lunch or enjoy ice cream with your client.

RESTORE DIGNITY

• Assist with bathing and grooming.
• Manage incontinence care to prevent embarrassment.
• Perform light housekeeping to reduce stress at home.

KEEP HEALTHY

• Prepare meals to maintain vitality.
• Provide medication reminders to avoid hospital readmissions.
• Ensure safety through memory care practices.

SUPPORT OTHERS

• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Monitor and report changes in condition.
• Support hospice care as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements for caregiver positions at Adultcare Assistance include:

HEART FOR SENIORS:

• Genuine desire to work with seniors.

ABILITY TO WORK:

• Typically 8 or 12-hour shifts in the Phoenix area.
• Optional overtime often available.

SENIOR SAFETY:

• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening.
• Negative TB test.

TRANSPORTATION:
