Omatochi is seeking a Caregiver to provide direct in-home and community-based care. You will follow client care plans, assist with daily living activities, and ensure safety and dignity during visits.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires reliability, respectful communication, and adherence to documentation standards. You will work with the Client Services team, maintain boundaries, and participate in required screenings and training.

JOB INFORMATION

Title: Caregiver

Department: Client Services

Reports To: CS Care Lead

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)

Location: California | Field-based

Schedule: Variable; days, evenings, weekends as scheduled; overtime eligible

Position Summary

The Caregiver provides direct care services to clients in their homes or community settings. This role supports clients with daily living activities while ensuring services are delivered safely, respectfully, and in accordance with care plans and organizational standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Client Care & Service Delivery

• Provide personal care and support services as outlined in client care plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients.

Attendance & Reliability

• Arrive on time for all scheduled visits.
• Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes or emergencies.
• Complete assigned visits as scheduled.

Documentation & Reporting

• Accurately document services delivered using approved systems.
• Report incidents, concerns, or changes in client condition immediately.
• Follow documentation and reporting standards at all times.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and team members.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or related experience
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Reliable transportation within service area
• Ability to pass background check and required screenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Home care or healthcare experience
• Relevant caregiving certifications
• Experience using mobile documentation systems

Workweek, Compensation, And Benefits

This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Omatochi offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; holidays; and additional benefits consistent with company policy.
