Almost Family is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and companionship for seniors in Terrebonne, Oregon. The role offers $20–$22 per hour with biweekly pay and a benefits package including PTO, health care, training, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, documenting client progress, maintaining a safe home, and assisting with light housekeeping and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Compassionate heart; ideally with one year of experience caring for seniors or those with disabilities.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Empowering Independence: Assist clients with daily routines, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals.
• Attentive Advocacy: Keep a caring eye on clients' well-being, documenting progress and ensuring health needs are prioritized.
• Creating a Sanctuary: Foster a warm, safe, organized living space where clients feel secure and respected.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Home Comforts: Lend a hand with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Out & About: Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and important errands.
