Job summary

Almost Family is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship in Redmond, Oregon. You will support daily routines, monitor health, and help with light housekeeping and errands within clients’ homes.

The role offers an hourly rate of $20–$22, paid biweekly, plus benefits and paid training. Prior care experience is helpful, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• A compassionate heart (ideally with one year of experience caring for seniors or those with disabilities).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Empowering Independence: Assist clients with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Attentive Advocacy: Monitor clients’ well-being and document progress.
• Creating a Sanctuary: Maintain a warm, safe, and organized living space.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Home Comforts: Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Out & About: Escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.

Compensation & Benefits:
