Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Youngstown, OH is seeking caring team members to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily living activities and medication reminders. You will support residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility while maintaining their dignity and confidentiality.

Job Description

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.

• Provide emotional and social support to residents.

• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and co-workers.
