Frontier Senior Living's The Greens community in St. Augustine, FL is hiring Caregivers for Assisted Living and Memory Care. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 hourly with NOC, Swing, and Day shifts available.

Caregivers provide vigilant resident care with empathy, maintain confidentiality, and support dining, activities, and mobility up to 40 pounds. CPR/First Aid and English proficiency required; high school diploma preferred, training provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Familiarity with elderly population; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all care needs a resident might require.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and fellow employee information.
• Notifies Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes of condition.
• Assists in dining room during meal times: set up, take orders, serve, bus tables.
• Assists with activities and helps residents get to scheduled activities.
• Helps residents get ready and to the lobby for appointments.
• Reports changes in condition to appropriate staff immediately.
• Capable of taking accurate vital signs and weights.
• Assists with in-care needs, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Keeps current on First Aid/ CPR as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Details: Job Location: Senior Living at The Greens - St Augustine, FL, Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00 Hourly, Job Category: Health Services, Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Caregiver for the Senior Living at The Greens community located in St. Augustine, FL.

We are looking for Caregivers for both our Assisted Living and Memory Care units.

We currently have the following Shifts and Schedules available for this position:

• Two openings for NOC/Overnight Shift - 11PM to 7AM
• Two openings for Swing/Evening Shift - 3PM to 11PM
• One opening for Day Shift - 7AM to 3PM

Caregivers are responsible for all duties related to safely providing for resident’s care and well-being with kindness, excellent communication, and teamwork. The position requires an understanding and commitment to the principals and values of the community. The Caregiver position requires a caring nature and willingness to care for the elderly.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with all of the care needs a resident might require
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and fellow employee’s information
• Notifies Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes of condition
• Assists in the dining room during meal times including, but not limited to, set up, take meal/beverage orders, serve, bus tables
• Assists with activities when required and/or be responsible for getting the residents to scheduled activities
• Responsible for getting residents ready and to the lobby for scheduled appointments
• Will be aware of what constitutes a change of condition and report to Medication Aide/Resident Care Coordinator/RN immediately
• Capable of taking accurate vital signs and weights
• Capable of assisting in-care needs of residents, which might include lifting requirements up to 40 pounds
• Keeps current on First Aid/CPR as directed by Resident Care Coordinator
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or any other management staff
