Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
  • Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans
  • Assist in all aspects of daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement
  • Communicate appropriately with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change
  • Approach and care for residents with dementia
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, or one-year related experience
  • Willing to complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire
  • Willing to undertake additional training or education as required by specific states
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
