We immediately seek dedicated Caregivers to make a difference by providing assistance to our older adult residents. Laurel Parc at Bethany Village, just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, goes to extraordinary lengths to create a place where seniors enjoy life to the fullest. Our care team help residents with light housekeeping, making beds, assisting with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing, oral & hair care, transferring and other needs based on individual service plans. If you are hard-working, kind, and can work efficiently & professionally, we would love to hear from you!

Schedule: Swing Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm), NOC Shift (10:30pm-6:30am)

  • also looking for part time/ on call

4 days on, 2 days off rotation. Must be able to work weekends.

Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 ($22.50- $23.00 Med Tech) based on experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides general attention to residents needs.
  • Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
  • Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes.
  • Completes light housekeeping tasks.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.

Qualifications

  • A passion for working with seniors + 6 months experience!
  • Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding.
  • Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit
  • Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibility
  • Caregiver experience preferred, but not required.

Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
