Home Care Assistance of Philadelphia is hiring a caregiver for daytime shifts in Pottstown, PA to support an elderly client at home. You will assist with activities of daily living, transfers, bathing, grooming and reminders for medications, while managing light housekeeping and meal prep as needed.

Interviews are in person at our Chalfont, PA office. Applicants must have caregiving experience, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check with PA health

Qualifications

• Past experience as a caregiver, either professionally or with family members.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
• Current 2 step PPD, quantiferon gold or chest x-ray (required by PA Dept of Health)

Job Duties:

• Assist elderly clientwith daily living activities, including transfers, helping with bathing, grooming and medication reminders.
• Clientand caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long‑term relationships.
• May include light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation and laundry.
