Job summary

Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley is seeking caring In-Home Caregivers to support clients in the Burlington area with non-medical home care.

Immediate part-time or full-time shifts available; weekly pay at $25/hour. Local staff and training opportunities help you grow while making a meaningful difference in clients' lives.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with clients, families, and supervisors.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing and grooming.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers using devices when needed.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying living spaces.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or needs to supervision.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.

We are looking for caring, dependable, and skilled individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers in the greater Burlingtonarea. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living spaces.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, or needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
