Caregiver Responsibilities
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and supplements
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
  • Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting
  • Help clients complete physical therapy and other exercises
  • Shopping trips
  • Light housekeeping duties, meal prep
  • Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from healthcare professionals and family members
  • Report any unusual incidents
  • Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
Caregiver Requirements
  • CNA Certification preferred
  • Previous caregiver experience preferred
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
  • Adherence to health and safety standards
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary considerations
  • Respectful and compassionate demeanor with good bedside manners
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical endurance for required tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
