Job summary

Cornerstone of Oak Creek is seeking a caring Caregiver to support residents with daily activities, personal care, and mobility assistance on a 7am–3pm shift. The role includes medication administration as directed, documentation, and engagement in social activities to enhance residents’ emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• CBRF Certifications preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.
• Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
• Availability to work 1st shift hours (7am - 3pm), including every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to staff.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
