Job summary

Senior Helpers in Minnesota is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in Burnsville and surrounding communities. You will help with daily tasks, ensure safety, and support independence while building meaningful relationships.

The role offers flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement. Requirements include 18+, excellent English, and 1+ year caregiving or related experience. CNA tuition reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
• Excellent English communication skills
• Required: 1+ year of professional caregiving experience or experience caring for a loved one
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and help your clients participate in activities they enjoy
• Help your clients with daily tasks such as preparing meals, driving to appointments, and housekeeping
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, bathing, and other personal care needs
• Record activities that were completed/not completed with your clients
• Provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
