Job summary

Visiting Angels Webster Groves, MO is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Webster Groves and surrounding areas. You will provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance and companionship, helping families stay independent at home.

Training is available in dementia and Alzheimer’s care, and the role offers flexible shift options to fit your schedule, with opportunities for personal and professional growth in a caring community.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.

• Shop for or accompany clients on shopping trips.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed by clients.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companionReport any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
