Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care tailored to each client’s Plan of Care. You will assist with daily activities, transportation, and errands while ensuring comfort and safety in the home.

We offer flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options, with competitive hourly pay, benefits, and ongoing training to support your growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Caregiver/HHA/CNA/PCA or Companion experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities

What You'll Need
