Job summary

Village Caregiving is hiring caregivers in West Yellowstone, MT. This role offers flexible hours with both part-time and full-time options and pays $20 to $25 per hour.

Daily Pay is available, and benefits include bonuses, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, a referral program, and flexible scheduling. You will help clients with medications, mobility, personal care, and daily activities in their home.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Background check required.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary constraints.
• Respectful and compassionate bedside manner.
• Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other exercises.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including preparing meals.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
