Job summary

Senior Helpers Spokane is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors across Spokane and surrounding areas. You will offer companionship, meal planning, light housekeeping, and personal care, helping clients maintain independence.

Flexible part-time and full-time shifts are available, with consistent hours and opportunities for training and advancement. A background check is required, and active HCA/CNA/NAR certification is preferred; free training is offered to eligible

Senior Helpers is immediately seeking caregivers for a variety of shifts all days of the week. These shifts may range from one hour to 24 hours in length. Join a supportive team that cares about you and allows you to choose your own shifts based on your availability - we offer part-time and full-time hours so you can work as little or as much as you want.

Caregivers typically provide companionship and conversation, meal preparation and planning, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation (errands and appointments), and personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, and grooming). Experience in these areas is preferred.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

• Active HCA, CNA, or NAR (1163 exempt) certification, although free training to obtain your HCA is available to promising candidates
• Kind, compassionate and caring demeanor

• Good communication with staff
• Pass a background and fingerprint check
• Your own vehicle, driver's license, and insurance
• Ability to work independently
